Retreats

Each year the Guild offers two quilting retreats, one in January and one in August. These are held at Dayspring Conference Center in Ellenton, FL. Retreats are 4 days of quilting fun and camaraderie, and some shopping too. Stay overnight in cabins or dorms for 2 or 3 nights or come as a day camper for a day or up to four days. See each specific retreat in the calendar to learn what special activities are happening at that retreat and for the latest fees.

Everyone has their own table to work at, please bring extension cords.
Ironing boards and irons are provided. No individual irons at your table please.
We will set up a large mat cutting area
Music is great, but please use headphones.
We will have a list of all the shops in the area with addresses and phone numbers. (And discounts!)
A refrigerator is available for water and snacks.
A table is reserved for snacks to share.
A table is provided for fabric or other quilting items to give away or to sell.

If staying in a cabin:
Bring: Personal items, flashlight
Provided: Bedding, pillow, towels, washcloth and shower toiletries
If staying in a Dorm: consists of 8 lower bunk beds on either side of a meeting area with bathrooms on both sides.
Bring: Personal items
Bring: your own Sheets (single bed), pillowcase, blanket or quilt, optional pillow,
towels, washcloth, shampoo, soap

Directions will be provided. Sign up at Guild Meetings or click into the specific retreat you are interested in in the calendar to the right and send an email to the contact person.
