General Info

Guild meetings are held in person on the second Monday of every month.    Social time at 6:00PM, business meeting begins at 6:45PM, speaker at 7:30, and show and tell afterwards.  Some program speakers will appear on Zoom and link is sent out to all members.  We would rather see you in person, but sometimes work/life gets in the way and we want you to benefit from the program.

Meeting place:  New Hope Methodist Church, 120 Knights Ave. North, Brandon, Florida 33510

Board meetings:

Board meetings are held on the 4th Monday of the month via Zoom.  Please request a link to attend.  Any member may attend, but please let the board know of any business you would like to discuss before hand, so time can be allotted in the schedule as needed.

Dues:

Dues of $30.00 per year are payable by the October (fiscal year runs August 1 – July 31) meeting. Upon payment of dues each member will receive a guild membership card signed by the treasurer, and a current membership directory. Members will also receive a monthly newsletter and a password that will enable them to access information on the guild website. Guild membership pins are available for $4.00.

Membership Obligations:

  • Each member is to have a fabric nametag to be worn at each guild activity.
  • Each member is responsible for participating in the construction and sale of the guild’s major fundraiser, the opportunity quilt. Each member is responsible for the sale of a minimum of 20 tickets.
  • Each member is asked to make at least one lap quilt or baby quilt a year to be donated to organizations supported by the guild. Workshops are held to produce some of these quilts.
